What Offscript collects, where it’s processed, how long it’s kept and what you control, drawn from our privacy policy, terms and Data & control page. Those documents have the full wording.
Offscript is a context-aware AI for work that connects information across your work and helps you understand what matters, why it matters and what to do next. To do that, it processes the information you choose to capture and connect. The privacy policy lists:
You control when recording is active. The policy says conversations are captured only when you have enabled the service.
Connections are optional and aren’t required to use the core service. Connecting one service doesn’t connect the others.
| Connection | What Offscript can access | What it’s used for |
|---|---|---|
| Google Calendar | Read-only access to your calendar events and attendee details. | Pre-meeting briefs, your Day Brief and routing action items. |
| Slack | Messages, threads and huddle activity from the conversations available through your authorized connection, plus your workspace’s member directory. Permission to post messages. | Surfacing relevant context and action items, and sending replies you review and confirm. |
| Linear | Authorized organization, team, project, issue and comment information. Linear appears when it’s enabled for your account. | Bringing issue context into your work, and creating or updating an issue or posting a comment after you review and confirm. |
The privacy policy states that connected-account data is not used for purposes other than the features it describes.
Offscript uses cloud services for transcription and processing. It doesn The privacy policy names these sub-processors, each bound by a data processing agreement and permitted to use your data only to provide their service to Offscript:
Where a feature requires it, authorized Google Calendar, Slack and Linear content may be processed by the AI sub-processors — Google (Gemini API), Anthropic (Claude API) and OpenAI (API) — strictly to deliver the features described in the policy. Their data processing agreements prohibit using this data to train, develop or improve their models.
Offscript does not sell your personal information, and does not use your conversation content or connected-account data to train general-purpose AI models. Connected-account data is not used for advertising.
Offscript does not allow people to read your connected-account data unless you give explicit consent, it’s necessary for security, abuse prevention or to comply with applicable law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including India and the United States. Where required, Offscript uses appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
The privacy policy describes the measures in one paragraph, quoted here in full:
“We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.”
The terms add that Offscript aims to keep the service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.
This page only repeats what our published policies say. If your company needs more for a security review, email sales@offscript.tech with what you need, and we’ll talk it through honestly. Offscript for Business explains how Offscript stays personal at work.
To stop using a connection, open Settings → Connections in Offscript and choose Disconnect. Disconnecting stops further access and syncing. What happens to data already imported depends on the service, as described above. Disconnecting a service and deleting your account are different requests.
You can also review and revoke Offscript’s access from each provider:
Google Calendar access is read-only. Supported Slack and Linear actions — sending a reply, creating or updating an issue, posting a comment — require your review and confirmation.
Before confirming, check the destination, wording, dates and context. The terms are clear that AI-generated output may contain errors or inaccuracies, and that Offscript is a tool to support your judgment, not replace it. Check the source, and ask a person when something is unclear.
The Offscript website does not send messages through your connected tools.
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access the personal information Offscript holds about you, request its correction or deletion, export a copy of your data, object to or restrict certain processing (including marketing) and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To make a request, email admin@offscript.tech from your account email. Say which request you’re making, and don’t include passwords or private conversation transcripts.
The terms set out a few responsibilities that come with an account:
If you use Offscript for work, check the privacy policy and any recording or data-sharing rules at your workplace before capturing work information.
If you think you’ve found a security problem in Offscript, email help@offscript.tech. Describe what you found and the steps to reproduce it. Please leave out passwords and private conversation content.
For questions about your data or a privacy request, write to admin@offscript.tech instead.
